What an exciting week we’ve had in Reception!
Over the past few weeks, the children have been carefully observing the tadpoles as they began to change and grow. They noticed how the tadpoles slowly developed tiny legs and their tails started to shrink. The children were fascinated by these changes and asked lots of thoughtful questions. It was amazing to watch their curiosity grow as they learned about the life cycle of frogs right before their eyes! We were so excited to watch them develop and finally, we released them into the pond.
We also had a special treat when Charlie’s mum kindly brought some chicks to school for us to see. The children loved watching the fluffy chicks and learning all about them. It was a great hands-on experience that everyone enjoyed.
On Thursday, we had our much-anticipated Sports Day! A huge well done to all the children for their brilliant efforts and sportsmanship. We also want to say a big thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to support and make the day so much fun. Your encouragement and enthusiasm really helped make the event a success.
Enjoy the sunshine!
Mrs Sheehan
