I hope you have all had a good week and are still enjoying the sunshine. The weather has really helped lift spirits and I  have a feeling that things are beginning to change for the better. I know we have a long way to go but I am hearing more positive things. Following on from Mrs Custis letter this week I thought I would answer a few queries that have arisen. The nursery children and reception children will not be mixing at all throughout the day. The toilets will be split between the two rooms and children will only be allowed to use the allocated ones for their class. We are very fortunate that we have such big grounds which allows us to use the front and the back. Nursery will be using the back and reception will use the front. The start times are staggered so it allows space for movement. You will need to be able to drop your child at the main gate. Hello all, Thank you for the emails with pictures and videos of you child's home learning. Lots of amazing learning is taking place in your homes. We will have our zoom session on Tuesday afternoon again. During the session I will talk a little bit about this week's home learning, and the children will have an opportunity to do show and tell. New home learning activities will be set out on our school website on Monday. Next week we will concentrate a bit more on texture, shape and measure. You will find links to videos on Reception class page, which explain non standard measurement. Please encourage your child to do Mathseeds and Reading Eggs for 10 minutes each day. Here is a video of Mrs Robinson performing one of the songs from The Gingerbread Man story. I bet the children will be able to sing along, and will think of an interesting ending to the story. Have a good week and keep safe. Mrs Sheehan

It was lovely to see the children's faces during the zoom session on Thursday. As one of the parents alerted me that there was a problem with the link , I had to send another zoom invite just before the session. I am sorry if you had problems logging in. Sometimes it is the slow connection that can cause the problem.. For those who did not manage to connect with us please do not worry, we just had a general chat about the things we have been doing during the lock down. We will carry on with zoom class meetings on a weekly basis. Reception class will have their meetings on Tuesday afternoon . To make the meeting more personal for each child we will do it in smaller groups. Each session will last for around 15 minutes. It would be lovely if the children could show us the things they have made or learnt during the session.  I will send you an invitation to the zoom session with your time slot on Monday. The meetings will take place between 1pm-2.30pm. Thank you so much for all

Hello, Another week in lock down has passed, and I think all of us can't wait for some news of changes to come. Thank you for your emails with pictures and videos of your child's learning. I can see that the children are involved in exciting activities, and are learning through play and hands on activities which is great. You will find our next week's learning on our website. There will be lots of activities to choose from. We have also added Pen Pal letter formation template that you can refer to if needed. There will also be a link to Letters and Sounds for home and school. You will find there short phonics lessons for Reception children. You can simply access the lessons by googling Letters and Sounds for home and School. It would be great for the children to revisit their letter sound and practice some blending. Again, if you have any questions please send me an email. Next week you might want to engage your child in acting out a story. I'm sure The children wil
