The children were surprised and upset to find an empty dinosaur den on Monday. We have searched for our dinosaur Brodee everywhere, but he is nowhere to be found. The children wrote missing dinosaur letters which we placed around our school grounds.

After a day of an intense search, we have decided that police had to be involved. The children wrote some letters asking police for help. We were a bit worried that we might get in trouble with the police for letting the dinosaur out. The children explained that they were unaware of the dinosaur being real, they were convinced it was just a plastic toy. We are still waiting for some news from the local police station.

During the week the children created their tie dye t-shirts which they wore during our Assembly.
I was so proud of the Reception class. They have performed with great confidence and clearly enjoyed themselves on the stage.

In maths we have been working on counting on from a given number which we will continue to practise next week.

Phonics
We continue using our phonics knowledge in writing. Next week we will focus on spelling our tricky words.
Have a great weekend !
